Self-Cleaning Rotary Valves
KREISEL’s self-cleaning rotary valves are used for discharging with constant volume throughput or for volumetric dosing of poorly flowing, moist, pasty, and sticky bulk material from containers into downstream plant components or conveying systems.
The operation mode of a self-cleaning rotary valve: in the KREISEL self-cleaning rotary valve, a second shaft equipped with precisely positioned knife edges operates below the main rotor. The passing chambers of the rotary valve are forcibly emptied.
In different sizes for volume flows up to 1,000 m³/h, KREISEL’s self-cleaning rotary valves have proven themselves for many years in process plants of all branches of industry. They are adapted to the specific conditions of use in the plant. Very coarse, highly abrasive raw materials, such as limestone gravel with high tonnages, can be conveyed just as reliably as lower mass flows of fuels which require an explosion-proof design.
The feeding of agglomerating bulk materials into a pneumatic conveying line under overpressure is also successfully realized by KREISEL - unique worldwide!
