Slide Gates
Slide Gates are used as shut-off, metering, and safety components underneath vessels and silos in bulk solids processing plants.
KREISEL’s slide gates are designed by default as knives gate valves with rectangular or round cross-sectional area. The profile steel frame is designed as a flange at the gate head and combines the gate plate with bearing, the sealing system, and the respective drive unit to a robust and maintenance-friendly construction.
Depending on the requirements, the gate plate can be moved by means of a handwheel, pneumatic or hydraulic actuator, or a gear motor.
Further series specially developed by KREISEL extend the range of application of these indispensable components for complicated and extreme operating conditions, e.g., high temperature ranges or very large dimensions.
