Wear-Resistant Pipe Bends
Ingeniously simple - simply ingenious: The KREISEL pipe bend with box profile.
Abrasive bulk materials such as fly ash, cement or clinker require special attention when being diverted in the conveying pipeline. Unwanted wear leads to leaks, and thus to contamination, loss of performance, and – in the worst case – even to operational failures.
KREISEL offers two different solutions for this problem:
- The pipe bend with box profile: a box profile is welded onto the back of the pipe bend. If the inner conveying pipe wears out, the bulk material flows into the hollow profile and forms an autogenous wear protection.
- The pipe bend with wear protection back: the wear protection back is filled with concrete after installation, which serves as wear protection.
Depending on the application, bends or diverter pots with fused basalt or ceramic linings are also used.
- autogeneous wear protection
- low installation weight
